Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before using ZyDO. By downloading the app, creating an account or using any ZyDO service, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our platform.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "Rider", "Driver") and ZyDO Technologies Pvt. Ltd. ("ZyDO", "Company", "we", "our" or "us") governing your use of the ZyDO mobile application, website and related services (collectively, the "Platform").

By accessing or using the Platform, you confirm that you:

  • Have read, understood and agree to these Terms.
  • Are legally capable of entering into a binding contract under Indian law.
  • Agree to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

ZyDO reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after modifications constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Eligibility

To use the ZyDO Platform as a Rider, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction.
  • Possess a valid mobile phone number registered in India.
  • Have a valid payment method for cashless transactions.

To register as a Driver Partner, you must additionally:

  • Hold a valid Indian driving license applicable to the vehicle type.
  • Own or have legal authorization to operate the registered vehicle.
  • Have a valid vehicle registration certificate (RC), insurance and pollution certificate.
  • Pass our background verification and onboarding process.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.

ZyDO reserves the right to reject or revoke eligibility at its sole discretion if any of the above conditions are not met or are found to be fraudulent.

3. Account Registration & Security

To access ZyDO services, you must create an account and provide accurate, current and complete information including your name, phone number and email address.

  • Account Security: You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Do not share your OTP, password or login link with anyone.
  • Unauthorized Access: Notify us immediately at istarlaakhil@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
  • One Account Per User: Each user may maintain only one active ZyDO account. Creating multiple accounts to abuse promotions may result in permanent suspension.
  • Accurate Information: Providing false information during registration is a violation of these Terms and may result in immediate account termination.

4. Services Offered

ZyDO offers the following services through its Platform:

  • Bike Taxi: Two-wheeler ride-hailing for solo commuters within a city.
  • Auto Ride: Three-wheeler auto-rickshaw booking for short to medium distances.
  • Car Ride: Four-wheeler sedan booking for comfortable city travel.
  • Parcel Delivery: On-demand same-day delivery of small packages within the city.

ZyDO acts as a technology platform that connects independent driver partners with riders/senders. ZyDO is not a transport company and does not directly operate vehicles. The contractual obligation for the ride or delivery is between the Rider and the Driver Partner.

Service availability varies by city and zone. ZyDO may add, modify or discontinue services at any time without prior notice.

5. Booking & Cancellations

Booking:

  • Bookings are confirmed only when a driver accepts your request.
  • Fare estimates shown are indicative. Final fare may vary due to traffic, route changes or waiting charges.
  • You must be at the confirmed pickup location within the waiting period stated in the app.

Rider Cancellations:

  • Cancellations made before a driver is assigned are free of charge.
  • Cancellations made after driver assignment may incur a cancellation fee of ₹10–₹30 depending on vehicle type and time elapsed.
  • Repeated cancellations (more than 5 per week) may result in temporary account restrictions.

Driver Cancellations:

  • If a driver cancels after accepting your ride, you will not be charged. We will attempt to assign another driver.
  • If no driver is available, your booking will be automatically cancelled with no charges.

No-Show Policy:

  • If you are not at the pickup location within the grace period (as shown in the app), the driver may cancel the trip. A no-show fee may apply.

6. Fares & Payments

Fare Calculation: ZyDO fares are calculated based on base fare + per km rate + per minute rate + any applicable tolls or parking charges. The final fare is shown in the app before and after the trip.

Payment Methods:

  • UPI, debit/credit cards, net banking and digital wallets via Razorpay payment gateway.
  • Cash payments (at driver's discretion) in select markets.
  • ZyDO Wallet credits earned through referrals or promotions.

Promotions & Offers:

  • Offer codes and promotional discounts are subject to specific terms for each promotion.
  • First ride offers (e.g., "First 3 km FREE") apply to new accounts only and cannot be transferred or combined with other offers.
  • ZyDO reserves the right to withdraw any promotion at any time without notice.

Receipts & Invoices: Digital receipts and GST invoices are available in the app post-trip.

Disputes: Fare disputes must be raised within 48 hours of trip completion via the app's support section. ZyDO's decision on fare adjustments is final.

7. User Conduct

By using ZyDO, you agree to the following behavioral standards:

  • Treat all drivers, support staff and fellow users with respect and courtesy.
  • Do not engage in harassment, abuse, discrimination or threatening behavior of any kind.
  • Do not use the Platform for any unlawful purpose, including transporting illegal goods or substances.
  • Do not request rides on behalf of others using fraudulent promotions or multiple accounts.
  • Do not attempt to hack, scrape, reverse-engineer or interfere with the Platform or its infrastructure.
  • Do not provide false ratings or reviews to manipulate driver scores.
  • Wear the helmet provided by the driver during bike taxi rides (mandatory for safety).
  • Do not smoke, carry hazardous materials or bring pets in vehicles without prior arrangement.

Violation of these conduct rules may result in warnings, ride restrictions, account suspension or permanent banning at ZyDO's discretion and may be reported to law enforcement if warranted.

8. Driver Partner Obligations

By registering as a Driver Partner, you agree to:

  • Maintain a valid driving license, RC, insurance and all required permits at all times.
  • Operate only the vehicle registered on your ZyDO account.
  • Provide helmets to bike taxi riders and ensure they are worn.
  • Accept rides without discrimination based on rider gender, religion, caste or destination.
  • Follow the designated route or take the most efficient route unless instructed otherwise by the rider.
  • Not charge amounts exceeding the ZyDO-calculated fare without explicit rider consent.
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness and roadworthiness standards.
  • Not drive under the influence of alcohol, drugs or any substance that impairs judgment.
  • Notify ZyDO immediately of any accidents, emergencies or safety incidents.

Driver Partners are independent contractors, not employees of ZyDO. ZyDO does not provide employment benefits and Drivers are responsible for their own taxes and statutory compliance.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable Indian law:

  • ZyDO provides the Platform on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
  • ZyDO is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform.
  • ZyDO is not responsible for the actions, behavior or negligence of driver partners, as they are independent contractors.
  • ZyDO's total aggregate liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you to ZyDO in the 3 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
  • ZyDO does not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free service and is not liable for service outages, network failures or app downtime.
For safety emergencies during a ride, please contact emergency services (Police: 100, Ambulance: 108) directly. ZyDO's in-app SOS feature supplements but does not replace emergency services.

10. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property on the ZyDO Platform - including the ZyDO name, logo, app design, UI/UX, content, software code and trade marks - is owned by ZyDO Technologies Pvt. Ltd.

  • You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Platform solely for personal, non-commercial purposes.
  • You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, reverse-engineer or create derivative works based on any ZyDO content without our express written permission.
  • Any feedback, suggestions or ideas you provide to ZyDO become ZyDO's property and may be used without compensation or attribution.

11. Termination

By You: You may terminate your account at any time by going to Account Settings → Delete Account in the app. Pending balances, trips in progress and dispute resolutions will be handled before termination is finalized.

By ZyDO: ZyDO may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if you:

  • Violate these Terms or our conduct policies.
  • Engage in fraud, abuse of promotions or criminal activity.
  • Have a low safety rating that endangers other users.
  • Fail to maintain required certifications (for drivers).

Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. ZyDO may retain certain data post-termination as required by law or for dispute resolution purposes.

12. Dispute Resolution

In case of a dispute between you and ZyDO:

  • Step 1 - Customer Support: Contact our support team via the app within 48 hours of the incident. We aim to resolve all issues within 5 business days.
  • Step 2 - Escalation: If unresolved, escalate to our Grievance Officer at istarlaakhil@gmail.com with full details.
  • Step 3 - Mediation: Unresolved disputes may proceed to mediation under the Mediation and Conciliation Rules, India.
  • Step 4 - Arbitration: If mediation fails, disputes shall be resolved by arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, with the seat of arbitration in Hyderabad, Telangana.

13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

For any disputes not resolved through arbitration, you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hyderabad, Telangana, India.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
